Step 1. Complete the online Nonimmigrant Visa Application
Applicants must complete the Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 and should bring the following required document to the Consular Section between 10:00 am and 12:00 (Noon) and 13.00 to 14.30 Monday through Wednesday. No appointment is needed.
• A Diplomatic note. The diplomatic note is written confirmation by the sending government or organization; this must contain the applicants’ full name, position and clearly states the specific purpose for travel and length of the mission.
• Official ordre de Mission
• A valid passport
• Online DS-160 application confirmation page
• One (1) photograph, FORMAT 5cmX5cm. See the Photos Requirements.
Note: Applicants for diplomatic and official visas are not subject to U.S. fingerprint requirements and will not be charged the non-refundable, visa application fee. Although personal appearances are generally not needed for these types of visas, the Embassy reserves the right to fingerprint and interview any applicant.
Step 2: Collect your passport and visa
“When your visa is approved, the Consular Section will contact you and tell you when you or your protocol can collect your passport and visa. If you are unable to pick it up in person, you can send someone with a note authorizing them to collect it on your behalf.
