The safety of U.S. citizens traveling and residing abroad is the highest priority of the Department of State. Overseas Citizens Services (OCS) in the U.S. Department of State, and our embassies and consulates overseas, are charged with providing this consular protection and service.

To make an appointment for regular American Citizens Services, please choose the service below and follow the instructions to make an appointment through our online system.

Please be aware that the following items are prohibited from entry into the U.S. Embassy: cell phone, thumb drive or any other electronic devices. In addition, while storage facilities are available for small electronic items such as cell phones and thumb drives, all laptops and tablet devices cannot be stored at the entrance of the U.S. Embassy.
