Training of English language alumni on Community of Practice development

Join us in congratulating the 30 English educators and U.S. government program alumni from across Madagascar on completing the American English Community of Practice (CoP) workshop in Mahajanga on September 30, 2023!
The two-day workshop, led by Malagasy trainers and English Language Fellows working in Southern Africa, trained educators on how to build and sustain a strong, vibrant, and long-lasting Community of Practice for English educators regionally and nationally.
The program is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy through the Regional English Language Office in Pretoria and organized by non-profit organization Ndeha Hianatra Izahay.
Upon completing the training, the educators are referred to as “CoP Leaders.” They will increase impact by conducting a series of Community of Practice meet-ups in their respective regions.
