Message for U.S. Citizens: Possible flight to Addis Ababa April 14

The U.S. Mission to Madagascar has learned of a flight possibility to Addis Ababa. A local Japanese travel agency named ARICS TOURS is orgainzing a special charter flight with Ethiopian Airlines to fly from Antananarivo to Addis Ababa in the afternoon of Tuesday April 14, 2020.  This flight is not organized by the U.S. Government.

The number of passengers is limited and seats will be assigned by ARICS TOURS on a first come, first served basis.  The cost of the flight per passenger is still be determined and will be based on the number of passengers. The cost should be known April 10 at 3 PM after passengers have expressed interest.  Payment will be made to ARICS TOURS directly. Payment may be made in Ariary or by VISA card with a 3% fee. Payment can be made to ARICS TOURS, 5, rue Raveloary, Isoraka TEL: +261 (0) 20 22 360 16  MOBILE: +261 32 04 528 38. The hours for payment will be April 11 and April 12 from 8 AM to noon local time.

There will not be a ticket issued but a receipt will be issued and the passenger’s name will be placed on the list. Passengers will need to provide their passport to be photocopied when paying.

Passengers must have an onward ticket from Addis Ababa. When paying, you must present your e-ticket. A reservation will not beaccepted, passengers must show an e-ticket.
