The Information Resource Center (IRC)

The Information Resource Center (IRC)  at the U.S. Embassy in Antananarivo is open to the public Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  The IRC is the U.S. Embassy’s most effective tool for communicating U.S. policy and introducing foreign populations to American history, government, society, and values.  It exemplifies the U.S. commitment to free access to information.

The IRC is a modern lending library providing the public with free access to the Internet and many other resources such as computers, iPads, Kindles, and EducationUSA advising materials for those who aim to study in the U.S.

All programs and activities are open to the public. If you want to participate in the activities, use the available resources or simply visit the IRC, please send a request for a special access with your full name at ircantananarivo@state.gov The special access is valid for one month and is renewable through email.
